Welcome to the 57^th European Go Congress Gdynia 2013!

The Congress will be held 27. July - 11. August 2013 in the First Academic High School in Gdynia.

We expect that the European Go Congress 2013 will attract 1000 players from more than 30 countries. We look forward to the arrival of go players not only from Europe, but Asia - the cradle of this oldest strategic game.

During the EGC 2013 for the participans awaits an usual number of attractions like go tournaments, computer go tournaments, Go Science Conference, many sports events and turist attractions.

Among the guests we expect professional players from Japan, China and Korea. Their presence is a great contribution to our Congress and is keeping games interpretation, lectures, commenting a lot more interesting.

We welcome all go playes regardless of your strenght, age or place of residence. We invite you also your family, friends and acquaintances to Gdynia.

Our main concern is to prepare the Congress is such way that there will be:
- cheap accommodation;
- convenient bus connections between places of accommodation and the main Congress site;
- wide selection of medium and high standard hotels;
- many possibilities for your family mebers to spend time on other atractions than Go game;
- vast amount of attractions and tourist events;
- a rich repertoire of the evening and night attractions.

From July 2012 starts online registration. The information we will constantly update.
